About this opportunity


An iTero Sr Sales Country Leader, you will be responsible to lead the commercial development of iTero in a country. The individual will be responsible for coordinating iTero commercial activities in their assigned country with the primary objective being to achieve Operational Plan in line with company and country strategic objectives through the ongoing development of their team, alignment with channel country GMs and engagement with 3rd parties (distributors, partners). The iTero regional commercial manager will develop a team of iTero sales experts who can support direct and indirect channels with iTero sales activities and provide extensive support and development via one-to-one coaching and demo visits, one-to-one business reviews and ongoing personal development. The iTero regional commercial manager will work closely with the country channel GMs and the country marketing director to align on the country iTero commercial strategy and its execution.


In this role, you will…

Be responsible for the achievement of quarterly and yearly regional sales targets as well as the Consolidated country funnel management across direct and indirect channels (in collaboration with GMs). Define and coordinate iTero in country go to market (direct/indirect/labs/inside sales, in collaboration with GMs and marketing director) Ensure iTero expert sales resources hiring and allocation (iTero sales rep, product specialists) also in collaboration with GMs Drive 3rd parties identification and local support (in collaboration with EMEA indirect channel team) Provide leadership in one-on-one, region, and group settings. Management, direction, and motivation of Sales Representatives, including development of sales plans, targets, and strategies and the removal of obstacles to success. Provide all appropriate reporting to the European Leadership Team, including feedback from customers and Sales Representatives. Provide inputs into training in product knowledge, capital equipment selling skills, and territory management (in collaboration with the sales force effectiveness team) Evaluation and coaching of Sales Representatives – through observation during co-travel, frequent feedback and the analysis of data. Contribute to country and EMEA Regional prioritization, strategy and roadmap. Collaborate with GMs and marketing director on go-to-market definition and execution and resource allocation Provide market & competitive insight


In this role, you’ll need …

Strong analytical and business planning skills High integrity and demonstrated leadership Track record of coaching/developing Sales Representatives in capital equipment businesses Experience in managing third parties’ sales Ability to execute marketing plans Excellent written and verbal communication skills to diverse customer audiences, in local language and English. Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types Ability to function effectively in a high-performance leadership team and lead by influence in a matrix organization Exhibit a high degree of flexibility in adapting in a rapidly changing environment Strong organizational and prioritization skills Proficient with Office applications Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Minimum of 12 years of professional sales management or comparable experience within Align Technology Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required. Previous experience in sales management from a medical device company, sales environments such as consumables or implantable to the professional channel through doctor offices, or from companies that provide a high level of management training and development
