Our Global Business Solutions unit is responsible for serving AT&T business customers around the world and provides a full array of integrated solutions to our customers, including wire-line and wireless services, enterprise mobility applications and applications management, advanced network management, network‐based security, cloud services, digital media solutions, unified communications and collaboration, hosting, network sourcing and consulting services.
EMEA Internet of Things Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating, solutioning and closing opportunities to drive revenue and new sales growth with exclusive focus on the Internet of Things.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The role involves selling complex technical IoT solutions and services, generating sales, and supporting the overall M2M enterprise sales efforts. In addition, you will:
Prospect and pro-actively manage the sales cycle for the AT&T M2M solutions.Manage and coordinate sales efforts for AT&T’s M2M products.Drive the sales engagement from a discovery to a clearly identified business value through deployment and implementation of a solution.Collaborate with account teams to develop sales strategy for pursing M2M opportunities.Participate in account and opportunity reviews, detailing and articulating the needed actionable steps for deal closure.Serve as an M2M technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions.Establish a partner relationship with customers and partners at Executive C-level, positioning AT&T as a trusted partner.Serve as a subject matter expertise on M2M applications and solutions.Employ advanced and consultative selling techniques to achieve wireless data unit and revenue targets.Understand IoT market dynamics in Europe and establish relationships with the IoT partner ecosystem.Must be very versatile in working in a matrix environment – governance with the EMEA Sales Centers/GADs/DOSs and the Internet of Things organisation.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Solid sales experience in a B2B environmentDeep knowledge of IoT solutions both within AT&T and in the partner ecosystem from an end to end perspective (devices, connectivity and platforms)Account and relationship managementLeading virtual teams in a highly matrixed environment – partnering with IoT business development, product marketing, Carrier Management, EMEA sales & Technical
Acquisition - developing new businessExecutive level influence and sellingMust be able to demonstrate successful track record working with large EMEA headquartered MNCs in a complex Internet of Things Solution environment – reference success in the EMEA marketplace requiredExperience of working for and/or with a large organisation is critical
Education and Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent ESSENTIAL
Right to live and work in EU/EEA
Fluent French and English
