Role purpose

The Account Manager will be responsible for a named set of accounts (sell to, through & with), account management and financial results for global Management consulting firms (MCF) and System Integrators (SI’s). The Account Manager will lead account strategy and responsible for defining and maintaining joined value propositions, getting global buy in from the alliance as well as Colt internally, driving the go to market strategy, and sales execution support with set of the top 20 accounts. The account manager will create leads, opportunities & bookings for Colt’s high bandwidth services. You should be a good self-starter with a hands on mentality and a good team player to drive Colt growth and strategy.


Key accountabilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to the assigned account module Develop strategic go to market solutions by collaborating with the product engineering, development and services organizations Drive achievement of account retention & development and strategic new logo acquisition on named SI’s and management consulting firms to support YoY revenue increase Drive revenue and margin in the division through complex new business opportunities and developing existing accounts Drive product development within this practice Accelerate high bandwidth opportunity to the cloud via DCA product Get close to SI’s & MCF and become the networking standard Acquire new Enterprise business via SI’s & MCF’s and upsell Colt portfolio Scale sales readiness by champions in country driving overall cloud opportunity Drive governance and alignment across the organization for these accounts Develop strategy and lead sales initiatives , through and with SI’s and MCF across the following verticals: Media, Capital Markets, Corporate Services, Government and Healthcare Collaborate with Marketing on the go to market via corporate branding, events, digital campaigns and value proposition Collaborates on new business opportunities, client support and the constant evolution of Colt's product and solutions portfolio Guide and co-develop sales enablement and coaching materials with the sales enablement team in regard to sales management, playbooks, sales models and methodologies and win-loss analysis for digital reporting Drive sales performance through effective leadership of your assigned accounts Ensure the highest standard in sales disciplines are adopted, including forecast accuracy, pipeline management, account development plans Ensure to deliver proper reporting (pipeline, forecast, win-loss ratio) in order to manage achievement of booking targets Scale sales readiness by champions in country driving overall cloud opportunity

Key skills and attributes

Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with people across a wide range of disciplines, teams, functions and levels Proven sales experience, with ability to learn and grow towards outcomes The account manager has proven experience in setting the example in terms of ethics, conduct, sales discipline and people management Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships internally and externally. Ability to influence leaders within Colt and outside Colt without direct authority to make change Self-starter with the ability to drive execution with minimal direction Ability to influence change and bring teams together in a collaborative manner Results driven, with ability to remain calm under pressure Strong analytical skills, ability to see patterns, be a fast thinker and a good decision maker Data-driven with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to present options, highlight tradeoffs and propose recommendations A strong-willed individual, with high emotional intelligence (EQ) and resiliency. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment and juggle multiple competing demands and establish priorities in a highly dynamic environment while providing continual attention to detail Creative and strategic thinker with knowledge of strategy development and implementation Excellent presentation skills The highest personal and professional integrity along with an optimistic outlook Solid understanding of telecommunications services and technologies Previous marketing experience working with strategic partners and alliances
