The Position

Sales Manager France - Paints & Coatings

Job Summary

Job summary:

Manage Sales for Imerys, for the Paints & Coatings market in France and North Africa in accordance with Imerys and Market Strategy

Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets as defined by the business

Manage commercial terms, contracts and price negotiations with customers

Prepare monthly reports and visit reports and capture Market Intelligence in CRM

Prepare accurate forecasts and budget

Give sales presentations to clients and prospects.

Coordinate sales efforts and communicate with technical teams, customer service and marketing.

Understand and promote company policy/strategy/program

Follow closely customer payments and overdues

Visiting customers and prospects to assess needs or promote products and services.

Follow and report customer claims

Participation to fairs and technical presentations

Animate and bring support to distribution and agents network

Follow laboratory and industrial tests and promote new products launching

Bring new technical ideas from the market

Accountability:

Revenue and growth accountability

Price negotiation and implementation

Claims Management

Imerys’ long-term customer relationships

Key competencies :

Strong negotiation and commercial skills

Business acumen and Technical appetite

Strong communication skills

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Strong customer sense and strategic understanding

Ability to positively influence others w/o direct reporting lines

Ideal background / experience :

Technical or Sales related field

5+ or more years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, experience in B2B commercal agreements is essential.

Others:

Account management, strategic thinking, result oriented, concern for impact, good interpersonal skills

Type of contract: Fix-term contract (1 year)
