Role Description

In Performance Optimization & Strategic Business Development Department you will get the opportunity to shape the future and help people with skin diseases live more fulfilling lives by advancing the standard of care.


Your role


As a Business Insight & Sales Force Excellence partner your overall objective is to ensure performance forecasting, tracking and optimization, build strategic and operational recommendations about sales and marketing activity, propose market research and tools to optimize sales and prepare launches.


Create and Monitor Performance tracking


In partnership with the BU, define the leading and lagging KPIs needed to monitor sales performance of our brands and track our activity on the dermatology key targets.



Coordinate the business review process with the BU to produce all the reports needed.
Capitalize on existing tools to monitor performance and proactively contribute to its optimization (e.g. automation, POWER BI)

Lead Market Research and competitive intelligence



Ensure implementation and follow-up of the different market research initiated (by Global team or Local)
Challenge the methodology and the objectives of the research to ensure alignment with business strategy
Lead competitive intelligence on LEO markets: organize dedicated meetings, coordination of competitive intelligence data, enrich existing tool

Lead Forecasts exercises



Lead Forecast exercises and propose sales targets, national and for Sales Force.
Develop relevant tools for forecasting exercises

Lead SFE activity



Responsible of Sales Force activity monitoring and Optimization (Territory reports and KPIs, Targeting, Action Planning, Incentives, Sales targets, ad hoc studies...)
Support multi-channel projects targeted to our customers to impact our brand performance

SFE / BI Budget planning and follow-up



Define Data and projects budget roadmap according to the business needs
In relation with the BI SFE manager, define budget plan and make budget orientation by defining priorities

Make strategic recommendations based on facts and data



Based on metrics, results of market research, and business knowledge, define strategic or tactical recommendations to optimize the resources allocations and increase performance of the BU brands.
Make the follow-up and ensure implementation of the recommendations



Your qualifications



To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:




3 to 5 years’ experience minimum in a similar position, either in consulting firm or in pharmaceutical companies.
Understand business environment and ability to translate into business needs
Knowledge of the BI/SFE tools and data and their specifications
Ability to propose innovative methods or tools
Ability to transform data into insights for business
Project management skills
Pack office expertise, especially Excel
Fluent in English
Analytical rigor and strong capacity for synthesis
Strong ability to challenge existing situation and provide recommendations
Capacity to work in a changing environment: agility, adaptability

You are a good communicator and not afraid to reach out to the stakeholders you need to involve in accomplishing your goals. You perform with autonomy and create lasting trustful relations across the business and other stakeholders within your area, with a strong team spirit.
