Job Statement


Position is responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with customers and implementing marketing and sales strategy for all Service products and solutions in a designated area of France. The incumbent will work closely with Minerals and Service product lines, proposal and product support staffs to increase sales and profitability.


JOb Duties and responsibilities


Manage service sales in its area: visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business. Provides sufficient detail to Metso entities to facilitate timely bid/no bid decisions. Coordinates communication between customers and all Metso entities. Liaise with Product Lines and provide technical and commercial input in the development of sales proposals.. Collaborate with after sales team. (Hotline, repair shop, service techniciens) Provides timely customer follow-up on all proposals issued and updates sales and proposal database regularly based on feedback from the customer. Gathers market intelligence within the area and escalate it at market level Attends and participates in exhibits and meetings as requested. Use Sales Force as a major tool for business discussions and development planning. Travel (both domestic and international) is required. . Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.

Relationships


Works independently and reports directly to the sales director France Strong and very recurrent relations with services, and wit capital sales team.

Indoor sales Product lines Proposals and Sales Support Key Account Management Marketing Finance IT and e-business efforts

Authority


Makes decisions within the framework of the defined strategies.

Qualifications and experience


Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent related experience). 5-10 years sales experience (or equivalent related experience) in heavy equipment/machinery required, preferably dealing with service sales in aggregates, mining or related industry. Good level of negotiation skills required, so as to be able to close deals in good conditions and in an efficient way. Ability to follow an important number of customer and opportunities, and to manage them with a high focus on sales development. Familiarity with Minerals and Service equipment is highly preferred. Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational, problem solving and trouble shooting skills required. Ability to travel

Best use of existing internal resources. Ability to understand Technical issues and communicate effectively with clients. Be flexible and available to interact with customers as required. Be self directed and motivated. Take initiative to identify and anticipate customer needs and make recommendations for implementation. Be able to prioritize customer needs, to escalate them if required, and to take the best of all areas opportunities to build a dynamic around his project and transform opportunities in sales.
