JOB MISSION:
The purpose of this role is to develop long term sustainable relationships with key lifestyle partners, by driving profitable and sustainable market share growth within footwear and apparel, and by creating brand desire thanks to a best in class go to market and activation plan within the energy portfolio .
The location for this role would be based in PARIS with regular travel required.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sell In
To represent the assigned key account internally as an ambassador towards all aspects of business
Responsible for continuing to evolve the account strategies, formalizing plans and sign off with the French management team and aligned to the EMEA requirement
Produce strategic plan for your key accounts, hand in hand with the country and sales managers
To achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel sales targets in line with the overall strategy
Forecast monthly orderbook conversion on a weekly basis by account
To be creative in fast fashion and the ability to recognise the global independent consumer and the younger end-consumer
To always ensure up to date and in-depth product knowledge, on our brand but also regarding the whole market competitors
Provide realistic plans and forecasts on account performance
Create a product assortment plan for your key account across all categories in line with account and brand strategies, according to the guidelines (volume allocations, franchise balance, customer potential …)
Support to the country and sales manager, recommending trade terms construction to be an added-value to the day to day business and to be supporting performance for both Brand and retailer.
Sell Through
To monitor sell-out and the order book continuously and competent using excel
To work closely with our business analyst team to support product forecasting monthly and seasonally
To analyse weekly sell through data and communicate to key stakeholders
To develop action plans to achieve monthly order book conversion and regular occurring trade catch ups with key account
Working closely with customer services/finance and logistics to manage revenue responsibility
Optimize revenues with available products opportunities (reorders ,…)
Instore & digital visibility
Manage existing shop in shop execution and coordinate its development according to Brand and retailer ambitions
Be responsible of the instore and digital share of voice (offer & marketing activations)
Ensure the very best expression of the brand on both footwear walls & apparel aisles.
Coordinate with the marketing team best in class activation on the Brand key stories.
Communication
To provide structured key account feedback on our product and on competitor product innovations
Spend regular time with your key account teams.
Coordinate with the customers : staff training, e-learning and all possible training tools. Be creative to ensure a qualitative Brand speech from our retailer to our consumer.
Efficiency
Proven experience using Office systems
Effectively manage order book from sales order to on time delivery – Including order reconciliation, price checks, order tracker, order phasing etc
To work closely with internal credit control department and key account payable team
Forecast monthly orderbook conversion on a weekly basis
To understand and operate within New Balance policies and procedures
Strong industry knowledge, across categories of footwear and apparel
Work with Marketing Manager to develop specific budget co-op activities with key accounts
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Proven experience within a key account selling environment
Proven sales experience ideally within the sport/fashion sector
Proven experience in selling and negotiating
Bachelors degree in sports/fashion related subject or relevant industry experience
Strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation
Understanding of local market consumers, economic environment and commercial needs
Analytical skills
Planning and organisational ability
High affinity to the brand
Team player
Continuous Improvement & growth mindset
Driving license
