Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a professional services background to support the further development of the firm in France, including raising the firm’s brand and profile and further embedding our global sector approach in the region.

This will include supporting the formation and implementation of the BD and Marketing plan for France; working with fee earners to recommend and implement activity which supports brand building and the generation of new business; and supports the development of existing and target client relationships in the region and wider firm relationships.

The role will involve working closely with the global BD team to support lawyers in all aspects of BD, deploying a wide portfolio of BD skills, including influencing strategy, client targeting, credentials materials and tactical marketing activity such as sponsorship, events and thought leadership.

Strong emphasis is placed on connecting the region with the firm’s existing European offices and wider network. Fluent spoken and written French and English are essential.

Relevant Experience:

Team management and mentoring skills
Strong knowledge of the Paris marketplace
Experience of operating in a multi-site, multi-national environment
Experience of undertaking a similar role in a partnership environment in France
Experience of supporting and delivering plans in line with agreed strategy in a partnership environment

Experience of sector market segmenting, preferably with understanding of infrastructure/projects/energy
