Sanofi will establish a major active pharmaceutical ingredient company in Europe. The standalone company headquartered in France will combine Sanofi’s API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites, located in five countries (France, Italy, Germany, UK, Hungary) and sales in 80 countries.
We are looking for an Account Manager to support the activities of this future new company (“EuroAPI”).
The Pluton project leads to the creation of a strategic partnership between Sanofi and EuroAPI that will materialize with a new Customer/Supplier business relationship governed by an API Master Supply Agreement.
The Account Manager drives day-to-day business operations and reporting related to the partnership established. She/He will be part of a dedicated team to Sanofi’s account, with defined roles & responsibilities assigned by Sanofi GBU customers (GenMed, CHC or Specialty Care).
The Manager works transversally with multiple EuroAPI key stakeholders such as Customer service, Demand Management, Quality and Account Payables as well as Global functions (Commercial, Finance, BO&S). She/He will be the primary day-to-day commercial relationship interface with Sanofi’s teams. The manager’s ability to monitor sales’ activity, conduct analysis, present findings, solve problems and facilitate decision-making will be key to this EuroAPI strategic partnership’s success.
MISSIONS :
Manage partnership day-to-day activities
Optimize partner relationship by managing operations between EuroAPI and Sanofi
Follow-up and consolidate YTD sales (delivered and invoiced) in coordination with Customer Service, Demand Management
Work with Supply Chain on forecast adherence and provide estimated sales landing
Ensure customer complaints are addressed and solved within EuroAPI
Coordinate issues resolution
Integrate consolidated Customer Service Level (CSL) prepared by Supply Chain into a global dashboard, conduct a business analysis and define required actions
Animate/coordinate customer’s operational meetings for the assigned perimeter with EuroAPI Quality and Supply representatives
Track customer’s satisfaction
Support Sanofi Global Account Management:
Complete established dashboard with relevant KPI
Report main highlights, alert on risks
Prepare business reviews
Provide annual budget & updated sales forecasts (F0, F1, F2)
Support contracts’ re-negotiations/amendments
Surveillance intelligence
Check Sanofi sourcing exclusivity obligations are met
Follow Sanofi market shares for dual sourced API with the support of BO&S
Watch DP trend for main API and detect any business opportunities
Check Health Authorities Sanofi Product recalls alert

PROFILE :
A minimum of a master’s degree is required
Life Science/chemistry industry understanding
Sales and/or account management previous significant experience
Very good level of English (speaking, reading, writing)
Strong analytic and presentation skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and conduct analysis with a large number of variables, including financial and supply data
Ability to structure and communicate complex concepts clearly & succinctly is mandatory.
IT competent in the use of Microsoft Office (XL and PPT) and experience of CRM system
Interpersonal skills and collaboration capability with all levels of the organization
Experience in working cross-functionally; autonomous with a strong sense of personal accountability
Excellent organizational and time management skills, results-oriented
Customer oriented with some business acumen
Advanced communication skills
