Job Purpose

Providing technical expertise pre and post sales on a range of finished and unfinished cameras and their associated control software and SDK, sold to manufacturers, distributors and system integrators. Understanding customer applications and competitive environment.

Providing support to the service centres and checking their performance.Maintaining technical information. Recommending and testing accessories and compatible products. Preparing demonstrations and exhibitions. Supporting customers throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making

Provide pre and post sales technical support to customers, to solve any technical issue and qualifying the product in the system of the customers. Prepare documentation for new products: Product and technology presentation, application notes, knowledge base, Competitive analysis, SDK, compatible products… Interact with engineering team in Japan to report and solve customer issues and feedback customer requests. Analyse competitor product/solution to provide technical arguments to sales team Deliver training and product presentations for both internal (account manager, product managers) and external clients. Manage stock of demonstration equipment Collaborate with third-parties to maintain/extend partner network Support tradeshows and other Country/Regional events Support service centre to achieve the targeted turnaround time in product repairs

Additional:

Willingness to travel significantly across Europe and Japan

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant University degree or equivalent Language qualifications: Fluent English language both verbally & written. Preferably also fluent in 2nd European regional language (French or German preferably) Preferable experience in cameras and in the image processing and electronic industry Experience in interacting with customers and problem solving Technical knowledge requested: General analog and digital electronic knowledge, Image sensor and camera technology, video signal, Image processing and compression , optics, Software development (C/C++) , Windows and Linux (OS installation, driver support) , Network (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Video over IP), Digital interfaces (camera link, USB, etc.), FPGA
