The Commercial & Business Development team is looking for a Manager to support ELC corporate commercial development and regional key account management.
The scope covers 25 Brands and 17 Affiliates, and missions are focused on ELC wholesale strategy, regional execution and omnichannel acceleration.
The Commercial & Business Development Manager will coordinate regional multi-branded projects developed with key retailers, support Brands & Affiliates in their wholesale strategy and business plans and support EMEA go-to-market strategy of non-integrated brands.
Reporting to the EMEA Business Development Director, the selected candidate can expect continuous leadership development, hands-on practical experience and a strong exposure with Retailers, Affiliates and Regional Brand Teams, including Senior Management.
Main responsibilities:
1. Manage development and implementation of regional operational corporate projects with key retailers
Define target process & ways of working on complex projects involving many stakeholders (Brands and ELC experts)Manage collaboration with retailers in autonomyBe responsible for the project on-time delivery and excellence in execution
2. Define, follow up and implement Joint Business Planning process
Support preparation of quarterly business reviews and top to top meetings with senior leadership teamCreate, implement and follow-up Joint Business Plan Playbook
3. Support Brands & Affiliates in their O+O strategy with key retailers
With Affiliates: support cascading of regional strategies, follow up of budgets and business plansWith Brands: define and follow up with Regional Brands SMC Playbooks and Marketing Calendars, coordinate key Brand presentations with retailers
4. Coordinate & follow up Sustainability retailers requests
Gather product information (ingredients, certification, etc.) and coordinate overall process with Brands and ELC expertsManage collaboration with retailers in autonomyPrepare meetings with retailers and internal meetings with Brands/Global teams to lead Sustainability strategy with retailers
5. Animate Commercial Leadership Team community
Provide monthly sales reporting and in-depth analysis and prepare Global & Regional quarterly reports on key retailersSupport meeting organization: coordinate presentations and follow up of action plansDevelop, update and manage internal communication tools
6. Support best practice sharing & follow up action plans on regional key commercial topics with Brands / Affiliates / ELC experts: Supply Chain, Education, Virtual Selling, Returns, Commercial Agreements, Digital Collaboration
Qualifications
5-year Business Management degree
Minimum 5 years of experienceFluency in English required, French not mandatory but recommendedHigh drive & commitment to topics and tasks at hand; motivated & willing mindsetAbility to work in fast paced environment, with exposure to several markets and product categoriesStrong analytical skills and proven rigor: advanced Excel skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare impactful presentationsExcellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and properly manage exposure with senior managementBusiness-sense and curiosity mindset with the will to drive for impact in all projectsAbility to step back, to be solution-oriented and make proposalsKnowledge of/interest in beauty or luxury goods industries recommended
