The Role

In order to strengthen Transics presence in east France we are looking for a

Sales Executive

The position will be based in east France ( home office)

Our offering consists of fleet management systems (FMS) and services for the management of trucks, drivers, trailers and cargo. This fleet management solution consists of hardware and various software applications (mobile apps, back-end and hosted solutions). Recently we chose the path of full digitization by offering additional (digital) services, such as Big Data and IoT services. You will be responsible for:

You will contribute to the further business growth in the region by offering complex solution to transportation and logistics segment and providing premier customer service to make sure that all customers get the sufficient level of support.

Key Accountabilities

Your main responsibility is to actively market and sell the Transics FMS (Fleet Management System) solution within east France, Luxembourg, south Belgium. You visit potential customers , mainly prospects within the transport and logistics sector and detect future business opportunities . Based on a business need analysis, you present the best Transics FMS to potential customers. You create offers based on these discussions and are also responsible for the proper follow-up in order to get a deal closed. You coordinate your customer visits with a colleague from Operations team who provides you and the customers with the necessary technical support. You collaborate closely with the other division teams in the region. You implement sales support campaigns and projects, initiate and participate on customer events and meetings with customers in the region.

Our ideal Candidate:

You have a proven track record in solution sales – min. 4 years of experience (Telematics, Fleet Management System, IoT, SW, ERP, Warehouse Management, Logistic Management, IT systems; online communication or similar) Experience related to ICT solution connected to transportation segment is great advantage Commercial vehicles market knowledge is important asset You are native French and you have communicative knowledge of English You are based in the east part of France (Strasbourg, Dijon, Lyon, Metz, Nancy) or willing to relocate You are open to frequent travelling (3-4 days per week) within the assigned area and several times per year to the company headquarters You have effective presentation and communication skills Your personality is characterized by your enthusiasm, communication skills and a result- and organization-oriented approach You are motivated and ready to quickly build up knowledge of our client’s (constantly evolving) products You have completed a commercial or IT education You are passionate about IT solutions and the transportation market
