The Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for researching, assessing and reviewing technical accounting guidance and support for Stellantis and its subsidiaries on various complex accounting areas. This individual will collaborate with various areas of the business to assist with the proper accounting treatment on business decisions, significant transactions and agreements. This position involves working on special projects and evaluating the appropriate accounting treatment for exciting and unique business situations. They will have exposure to executive management in communicating identified accounting issues, the financial and operational impact of new accounting standards and other matters. They will also be responsible for the preparing and delivering of formal and on-the-job training to staff, Corporate Accounting, Controlling and other Finance teams.

The position is ideal for an experienced qualified accountant who is enthusiastic about learning and wants to grow their accounting, operational and project management skills. The successful candidate will bring a functional depth and understanding of the accounting standards, as well as the requisite leadership traits that will ensure one's success in the immediate role, as well as future leadership assignments within the company.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; if no Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, must have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Accounting designation
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 7 years of combined public accounting (Big 4 or large regional accounting firm preferred) and private industry accounting experience
Demonstrated ability to research and document technical accounting issues and resolutions
Experience in managing staff on various technical accounting projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to translate complex accounting topics to non-finance business partners

Preferred Qualifications
English speaking and preferably also French language proficiency
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
Audit experience
Working knowledge of IFRS
Experience with SOX and internal controls
Experience working on teams, including cross-functional teams and accountability for getting things done
Ability to work independently and adapt to on- demand projects as they arise
