Do you want to invent the future of Amazon retail supply chain?
We are the European Inventory Management (EIM) team. We build and manage products and program that impact our entire European supply chain across all product categories and geographies. We are looking for talented Product Managers who thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment to deliver on our collective team vision to:
Maximize the business value from Pan-EU Inventory, Selection and Speed: Our vision is for 100% of EU inventory to be available for our customers in every EU marketplace.
Decarbonize our inventory management operations: Amazon has pledged to be a net zero carbon company by 2040, and to fulfill that mission we invent new ways to purchase and move inventory across EU with a reduced carbon footprint.
Maximize product availability for our customers: as Amazon grows, so does the complexity and diversity of our selection and network. We build scalable and automated tools that optimize the flow of information between Amazon and our suppliers to secure the inventory we need to meet the need of our customers.
Optimize efficiency of our upstream supply chain (from suppliers to Amazon): we build scalable mechanisms to engage with our retail suppliers and remove all the defects in the flow of goods between their supply chain and ours.
In the role you will:
Design new inventory management products. This will entail coordinating use case analysis, optimizing the return on our inventory investment in our European businesses across product families (Softlines, Hardlines, Consumables, Media) and geographies (US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, possibly other geographies such as China and India). This aspect of the role will require strong stakeholder management (incl. Retail senior management, category leaders, Vendor managers and Instock managers, engineering teams).
Conceive and deliver various goals and projects (e.g., improving availability of fast and slow moving products with our major EU vendors). You are expected to put in place the right steering mechanisms in order to deliver against the goals.
Propose and implement new ideas to transform the way we manage the inventory of millions of products in Europe
The role is open in Amazon EU offices in Luxembourg, Munich, London, Paris, Madrid and Milan.

We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.
