Position Summary: The Ansys Systems & Platform Business Unit (SPBU) delivers products and solutions used to model, simulate and analyze digital system prototypes, design safe and secure embedded systems and software. System and software engineers use Ansys SCADEsolutions to graphically design, verify, and automatically generate embedded critical applications with high safety and dependability requirements. The Product Manager Embedded Automotive Software is focused on driving customer adoption of Ansys SCADE embedded software products in the Automotive market. He/she orchestrates a variety of cross-team activities, effectively collaborating with other product management team members, sales and consulting teams, product development teams and the customers. He/she owns the vision and product strategy for embedded automotive software tools at Ansys and is responsible for strategic product decisions. Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities : Define market requirements and workflows for embedded automotive software products, and work with Product Owners to further refine the end-user product requirements Develop the automotive software product strategy (including pricing & packaging) Create and manage the automotive software product roadmap Monitor industry trends & innovations Perform competitive analyses Create the financial forecast and track product performance Propose actions and technical follow-up of partners alliances Support the Product Marketing in the creation of the product messaging content Represent the embedded software product line on customer visits, at conferences and trade shows Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields 5 years of combined experience in any of the following areas: Product Management, Product Marketing or related work experience Extensive experience and knowledge of the embedded automotive software market Highly collaborative and able to lead via influence and great ideas, coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience in automotive software product management Experience in producing product business cases leading to successful products Experience with model-based software design flows and tools, such as Matlab/Simulink Familiarity with automotive software safety or architecture standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ASAM Global automotive market experience Distinct customer orientation and willingness to travel up to 20%, worldwide Experience in developing software, including Agile Embedded software, is a plus CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
