About the Business:

Our client is a major player in the distribution of specialty chemicals and ingredients and a trusted partner in the cosmetics industry. They are seeking a Product Manager to join their Beauty & Personal Care division in France.

Under the leadership of the Head of the Beauty & Personal Care department, you will play a major role in the development, management, and animation of ranges of strategic raw materials in our portfolio (active ingredients and functional ingredients). They offer the opportunity to use your expertise and your commitment to evolve within a leading company in its market and a dynamic team.

Missions and Responsibilities:

Be the privileged interlocutor of producers and ensure the interface with our sales teams.
Manage with our teams and our customers the deployment of the development strategy of your ranges.
Monitor and enhance your raw materials portfolio with internal teams, providing commercial, technical, regulatory and marketing support in relation to local and group teams in place.
Analyze sales and business performance indicators.
Follow up on development opportunities as well as reporting to producers.
Supervise the follow-up of stocks and non-conformities.
The missions and responsibilities are likely to evolve according to the needs of the company or organizational changes within the Business Unit.

Profile and Strengths:

Engineer level or equivalent, training in Chemistry or Biochemistry, ideally specialized in
cosmetics.
Knowledge of formulation and cosmetic ingredients required.
Knowledge of skin biology essential.
Experience of 5 years and more in the function of Product Manager, at a producer or distributor of ingredients / raw materials.
Fluent oral and written English essential.
Strong capacity for analysis and synthesis.
Results and customer satisfaction orientation.
Pragmatism, sense of negotiation, ability to discern customer and supplier issues.
Autonomy and leadership.
Interpersonal skills and team spirit (many interfaces).
Ability to adapt and evolve in an international and multicultural environment.
Mastery of IT tools (Pack Office, ERP, CRM, Databases).

Remuneration: €90,000
