Product Control - Regulatory Team Manager

Dublin, Paris or Frankfurt

As a Barclays Product Control - Regulatory Team Manager, you will join our Barclays Europe Finance team, managing the delivery of a range of changes in fair value control processes, as part of a wider regulatory initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to join a knowledgeable team, where you will be playing a key role in maintaining daily contacts with Barclays Europe Finance and business senior management, as well as regular contacts with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.

What will you be doing?
•    Supporting the Barclays Europe team that is accountable for the delivery of change of key controls and services provided by Product Control 

•    Managing communication, coordination and progressing updates within the Finance teams 

•    Managing monthly and quarterly updates on the initiatives to the senior management 

•    Partnering with technology and other infrastructure teams on the initiatives, including IT and data teams, Risk and Operations partners and Control partners

•    Driving insightful analysis of metrics on the initiatives, leading to better management understanding of progress and early identification of any areas that require extra focus

•    Working with the Global Product Control teams to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of the changes required

•    Analysing problems and evaluating options in a logical and systematic way

•    Building effective partnerships with senior stakeholders on the initiative, supporting updates to the Barclays Europe Board, CFO, Controller and other senior leaders

What we’re looking for:
•    Previous experience in a Financial Control function 

•    Experience in working within a Product Control and or Project Management 

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Experience of working in teams across multiple business areas, functions and locations would be advantageous 

•    Excellent understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting rules

You will be based in our new flagship office, One Molesworth Street, which is in the heart of Dublin city centre.
