As an European Product Manager you will be an integral part of the Microbiology Team and responsible for the IDS Lab Automation portfolio, which is designed to increase efficiency, streamline processes and deliver high quality and consistent results with a fast turn-around time.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Developing and driving marketing and communication strategy for your assigned product portfolio in collaboration with the Global and Country Marketing teams, for the achievement of key product line strategic goals.

Managing drivers of demand and execution strategy for assigned product lines such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting and product mix.

Participating in key European projects/initiatives and leading project teams within the area of the product group line providing input, together with European Marketing Manager, into product group line-related business decisions and resource planning.

Developing marketing expertise and proactively contributing to and collaborating with team peers and other aligned business units across the region towards the development of the European Integrated Diagnostic Solutions Marketing Strategy.

Coordinating activities with other functions that are required as part of the execution of launch and marketing/sales plans. These functions encompass regulatory affairs, medical and scientific affairs, supply chain, technical service, marketing communications, etc.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

Academic degree in Microbiology, Engineering, or Marketing, and proven experience in Healthcare, Diagnostic Laboratories or Pharmaceutical industries. Lab Automation experience would be a strong asset.

Experience in product and portfolio management and product solution management including identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, targeted marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategy and Go-to-Market models and strategies.

Agile and service minded with a positive outlook to change. Customer focus and good business sense with a strategic approach to problems.

Proven experience working with Key Opinion Leaders.

Ability to deal with ambiguity, be adaptable, flexible, and a proactive decision maker.

Ability to influence decisions, to set priorities and follow through.

Capacity to lead, coordinate and influence project whilst working with cross-functional teams.

Fluent in English and preferably one or more European languages: French, Spanish, Italian or German.

Strong ability to work in a multicultural environment and have up to 40% travel willingness.

Good planning skills combined with high level of self-organization.

Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
