BESINS Healthcare (“BESINS” or “Company”) is a well-established, independent family-owned and Monaco-headquartered global pharmaceutical company that sells 30+ women’s and men’s health products in 90+ countries around the world via 20+ fully owned affiliates (www.besins-healthcare.com). The Company is currently looking for an Global Product Manager to join its Corporate team.
The Global Product Manager is responsible for Global Marketing Strategy definition, planning and implementation. This includes managing products launch preparation, defining the global product vision amongst all BESINS’ affiliates, gathering and prioritizing internal and external product developments, working closely with Global Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Supply-Procurement, Business Development to secure launch of the Company’ products portfolio. It also includes working with BESINS’ affiliates’ local General Managers, Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, Regulatory and Medical Managers assuring that patients/regional requirements and specificities are understood and aligned to reach Company’s expectations. The Global Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the marketing efforts follow the BESINS’ overall strategy and goals. The current Company’s products portfolio includes Prescriptions, Medical Device and Food supplements in various therapeutic areas e.g. Gynecology, Fertility, Obstetric, Urology, etc. Within the multicultural and global environment, the candidate’s first objective will be the international launch of two strategic prescription products in women’s health which is planned to occur within the next two to three years.
Role/Responsibilities:
Launch Strategy and Planning
Elaborate new products launch strategy and marketing plan; Develop target profile and core positioning and messaging for the current products portfolio; Create marketing communication and documentation support to BESINS’ affiliates; Support the development of promotional tools, packaging in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements; Create Product documentation/information in collaboration with Supply-Procurement team; Support pricing strategy and profitability goals in collaboration with local Marketing teams; Organize and lead Launch readiness meetings and support marketing plan by regions/BESINS’ affiliates; and, Coordinate Product launch activities with the support of Project Management: logistics, supply, design, communication agency, local sales forces.Global Product Strategy and Roadmap
Define and support global product launch strategy: positioning, pricing, promotion, communication; Elaborate and implement short- and medium-term marketing global strategy in collaboration with BESINS’ affiliates; Provide Global Product Communication Plan to BESINS’ affiliates (promotion, advertising, public relations, etc.); Elaborate with Global Medical team, the Global Medical Communication through congresses, symposium, internet, etc.) as well as press releases or press tours; Create and maintain beneficial relationship with KOLs to support brand franchises; Support BESINS’ affiliates to achieve launch goals and sales objectives; Participate to International marketing and medical conferences/congresses; and, Maintain relations with external contacts (health professionals, KOLs, etc.)Marketing Operational activity – Market study
Participate to the elaboration and coordinate the qualitative/quantitative studies with BESINS’ affiliates; Cooperate to the definition of patient treatment pathway (segmentation, patient profiles), Participate to the evaluation of market potential, understand market environment, offer, needs; Support BESINS’ affiliates operational activities including training and product demos to local sales forces; Select and control marketing subcontractors and manage associated budgets; and, Collaborate to the analysis of market studies, competitive information with the support of Business Development and Competitive Intelligence teams.Reporting
Follow monthly results vs. forecast with the support of BESINS’ affiliates Report activities and performances to Senior Management and Board members.Experience:
Scientific (Pharmacist, scientific, Master, Engineering Degree, or other advanced scientific degree) and Marketing background are required (Marketing school or MBA is a plus). Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Global Product Manager or Global Product Marketing Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Demonstrated success defining and launching Global Product. Technical background in Prescription drugs, Medical Devices and Food Supplements is a plus. Experience in women’s health and/or urology area is a plus. Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory environment a plus.Skills:
