Software Quality and Test Engineer (m/f)

Key Accountabilities:

Performing activities related to the software quality during the software development- and maintenance phase of Mechatronic Monitoring - & Control Systems

Creating important documents related to the software development ( for example: interface documents, test specifications, test reports, performance test spec, requirements specs, documents related to the verification and validation activities, documents related to special tools, release notes, configuration management, documents related diagnostic, etc.)

Supporting the software validation tests on the simulator

Supporting the software validation/commissioning tests on the first Bogie & Car & Train

Supervising the remote support during the start-up of train service and analysis of the log files

Support during the definition phase which is focused on the software concept, interfaces, quality requirements, architecture, software development plan, quality plan... in line with the project requirements

Interacting with internal stakeholders: other members of the mechatronic team, other quality departments from different sites, TCMS team, project leaders, dynamic team, etc.

Interacting with external stakeholders: indirect contacts with maintenance teams & suppliers

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience in real time software development, software programming, multi-tasking, software quality and software verification & validation activities, training, software maintenance,NCR’s, configuration management & software release notes.

Experience with the European standards like EN50128 and ISO9001

Experience with programming languages like C, C++, Visual Studio...

Experience with Real Time Operating systems (RTOS) like QNX, Linux...

Good understanding of the Mathworks development tools , database creation & MS Office.

Experience with the “Software V development” model

Knowledge of communication links like CAN, Ethernet and others

Basic understanding of simulation tools to test the communication links, like CANoe...

Advanced level of both written and spoken English and French language. General understanding of the German language would be a plus

5-10 years of experience required
