In order to expand our Validation Team, we are currently looking for a Tractor Test Engineer. The Tractor Test Engineer will be in charge of the different projects’ data acquisition systems as well as the physical performance of tests on our products. The international team is strongly interconnected in order to achieve the best results in the development of Kubota’s innovative products.

Main Responsibilities

Field Testing

As the liaison between our clients and products, the candidate will perform tests on our prototypes in order to increase the function and durability of our machines.

Establishing and maintaining the relationship to Kubota’s suppliers (e.g. farmers, companies)

Maintaining the tractor and implement fleet (incl. service planning)

Handling test tracking and field planning

Analysing and reporting the test results

Data Acquisition

Next to the field testing, we will require the Tractor Test Engineer to handle the planning, installation and operation of Data Acquisition Systems onto prototypes, according to the different project needs.

Management of the pool of DAQ devices

Configuration of the data logger

Analysing and reporting the test results

Candidate Profile

Degree in mechanical/electrical/agricultural engineering or a similar discipline

3+ years’ (test) engineering experience in the agricultural machinery industry

Specific knowledge in structural testing is a plus

Knowledge in Data Acquisition Systems (e.g. IPEtronik, HBM, DeweSoft, etc.)

Knowledge in CANBus, electrical wiring, hydraulics and mechanics

The candidate is fluent in English and in French and can communicate well within international teams
