Royal Canin Vision is to enhance veterinary care by science based health nutrition. To continue to push boundaries and generate category growth in an OMNI-channel reality, the Veterinary Services Platform Product Owner will lead, plan, develop, and implement a suite of digital services designated to Veterinary clinics in order to future proof our core offer and create new business models. The ambition is to become the partner of choice of Veterinarians and drive Royal Canin product recommendation together with monetization of new digital services.

Veterinary Service Platform Product Owner F/M

Job located in Aimargues (40 km from Montpellier - South of France)

Key Responsabilities

Define a strategy and development roadmap for the vet services platform to ensure Veterinary category growth as a part of global Royal Canin ecosystem. Manage the product requirement from prototyping, development to deployment in markets. Manage various stakeholders in order to insure smooth execution of the managed projects. This includes the collaboration with markets, regional teams, digital support functions and global pet care units. Lead and shape digital user centricity to maximize user experience Define Market resources and capabilities guidelines to insure efficient implementation and long term sustainability of the projects. Track and analyze KPI to ensure continuous learning and improvement Build and implement a communication plan in order to inform and train internal and external stakeholders
Context & Scope

Working with the Project Manager, Work stream Owner, Architect and technical team leads to break the solution down into manageable work packages that can be used to drive a project plan and road map.

Working with the Architects, Work Stream Owner, region and markets to define how the target solution will be implemented

Production of Technical Design in conjunction with the Development team encompassing both functional and non-functional requirements

Providing oversight to estimates; challenging estimates to validate that they are neither overly-optimistic or pessimistic

Identifying process inefficiencies and working with Scrum teams and Project Managers on improvements

Removing Technical Impediments, suggesting alternative strategies where appropriate. Carry out user needs analysis

Ensure Design and other supporting documentation is kept up to date as the product evolves

Identify the required level of skills and experience to deliver the technical solution and work with the relevant resourcing functions to ensure this is in place

Communicating the vision to the team and ensuring the developed solution matches this

Provide a support feedback loop so that technical debt remediation, functional and technical improvements are identified and can be included in the product backlog

Owning delivery output quality metrics

Profile

Business School (MBA or Bachelor degree)

Digital Marketing degree

10+ years in B2B or B2C Digital Marketing/Digital platform management

Experience in E-commerce

Management of complex technical projects on an international level

Ability to work with different teams and various team dynamics
to achieve challenging delivery objectives

Lead of cross-functional teams with external and internal actors

Excellent communications, influencing and negotiations skills

Fluent English
