The role
Our pioneering R&D team in Rennes is seeking an Automation Test Engineer who will be responsible for verification and validation of our media solutions, mainly focused on OTT systems.

Working under the Agile framework, you will directly report to a Quality Assurance Manager and integrated in to one of our solution Scrum teams.

Responsibilities:
Definition of test strategy, and writing of test plan in accordance with host Scrum team, Test script writing, or adaptation of existing ones using Robot Framework and Python languages, Script writing, or adaptation of existing ones using Puppet, Chef, OpenStack API, Amazon API, Docker for targeted solution and its test environment deployment in a Cloud context, Execution and supervision of test campaigns, in a context of manual tests, bug fixing tests, but also automated tests Improvement and adaptation of test sequences to keep execution time compatible with Scrum rhythm. Issue investigation, including interoperability problems with 3rd parties components of the solution Report of activity to both levels – project team (scrum) and direct referent (QA team) About you
You will have worked hard to get where you are, and you will now be an experienced QA / Automation Tester who’s now looking to take the next step in your career.

Holder of an MSC or equivalent in the field of telecommunications, signal processing or computer science

You will have all or some of the following skills/experience:
Experience in Digital TV and video processing, IP networks First-hand experience of deployment of systems using Puppet, Chef or other technologies for OpenStack and/or Docker Great knowledge of communication protocols like SOAP/SNMP/REST, and others based on TCP / UDP Knowledge of continuous integration principles and practices, and possibly DevOps practices, open source, Container as a Service (Orchestration, container, virtualization Experience in Linux operating system and standard Linux practices. Knowledge of RFW and/or Python languages Good experience and expertise in verification and validation processes and quality. Great level of communication, in French and English Eagerness to collaborate and share knowledge. We are MediaKind
