Job Description

What will you do in this position

Reporting to the MCU32 Product & Test Engineering Manager, you will be part of an engineering team focused on new products validation and release. As Product and Test Engineer, you will specify, develop and validate on silicon production test solutions for new 32 bits microcontrollers.

More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:

Define and specify, based on design specification, the tests required for product validation and production.

Develop embedded tests, and debug/validate them in production test environment

Define and execute new products characterization, provide recommendations on product performances and improvements if needed

Specify and develop qualification tools. Drive failure analysis when required.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for in a qualified candidate

Qualifications and Experience

MS or similar in electronics engineering, computer science or related engineering course

3+ years hands-on experience in a semiconductor company with product and test engineering or application experience in microcontrollers, microprocessor, non volatile memory, analog products.

Competencies

Applied programming skills on C, C++

Embedded development skills on 8, 16 or 32 bits microcontrollers

User experience of COHU/Xcerra ATE platform (DiamondX) and/or Teradyne-Nextest Magnum

Semiconductor test technique knowledge in digital, structural tests (DFT), BIST methodologies, analog (ADC, DAC, …), memory testing (SRAM, EEPROM, FLASH, …).

English spoken and read/written fluent

Excellent analytical, project leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with various groups located in different time zones (Europe, Asia, US)

Optional: knowledge in silicon manufacturing process technologies, IC design, test H/W & S/W development.
