Title : Test Engineer

Location : Caen, Meyreuil or Grenoble

Purpose of the mission:

Within the Test & Product engineering team, the test engineer will work on test development projects of

micro-electronic components for industrial solution.

The test engineer participates directly to the test solution development and implementation, from

engineering to production. Accountable for development & proper qualification of a robust test solution

(HW+SW) and ensuring Quality & reliability of products through adequate test coverage.

Developing test solutions

The aim of the function is to develop, improve & maintain the test solution of a dedicated product following customer’s specifications, from engineering to production, with characterization &

industrialization of the product.

Take the responsibility of test writing on Automatic Test Equipment like Advantest V93K, Magnum or Teradyne Flex, while maintaining correlation with customer’s samples. Work in relation with the customer and his team on test strategy & participate to the definition of the program, this to optimize the test list and measurement methods in EWS, FT or bench, while

keeping the test integrity versus product specifications.

Being involved in HW schematics reviews, design and routing of test board.

Supporting Projects:

Being a technical support for all subjects relative to test engineering, this to ensure the good execution in project team to deliver on time from A to C SQuP Gate Participate to pre-sale activities by being a technical support in its area of expertise. Participate to the continuous improvement of the activity thru lessons learnt output and best practice

sharing amongst the BU’s to foster efficient decision making on project execution (set up of timely

alerts on deviations of deliverables schedule / revenue / cost, gap analysis and corrective/recovery

plan)

Requirements:

MS or PhD in microelectronic or electronic engineering Experience in developing test solutions on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), ideally Advantest V93k or smartest 8 or smartest 7 C, C++, Visual Basic demonstrated hands-on programming experience Semiconductors industry JAVA expertise an asset Test Program for Automotive (IATF) standards Test Program for Secure Elements (CC EAL6 or equivalent) Experience with ADC/DAC or RF ICs an asset 
