Your role at Sephora Collection:

Marketing Product Development Manager is responsible for animating the catalog of products while driving new concepts and developing high quality, on trend, innovative cosmetic products in a dedicated category of products: make-up or skincare/haircare, offering them at a value price point to Sephora customers worldwide (Europe, Middle East, North America, Latam, and Asia).

As a Marketing Product Development Manager, you will manage the existing catalog of products and concept-to-launch execution of new product launches for a defined category of products (makeup or skincare/haircare):

Drive all phases of new product development, including trend scouting and ideation, market research, concept development, creation/issuance of marketing briefs, communication of key details with sourcing/development team, formula evaluation, facilitation of trainer and consumer testing, development of artwork & marketing copy.
Drive all aspects of new product launches: product positioning/naming, shade selection, primary package identification and SRP, and animate the core catalog of products.
Propose and monitor marketing mix strategies (360/Digital/Retail) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (to build a broader business strategy, ensure the right level of margin and meet budget.
Work closely with sourcing/development/project management teams on prioritization/time management to ensure all key marketing deadlines and milestones are tracked and met.
Team up with S+ Regulatory and Research teams to coordinate all necessary product efficacy and consumer testing. Determine testing parameters, panel questions and necessary in-use testing specific to each product launch.
Ideate and legally confirm product franchise names, product names and product copy. Create and write detailed product education sheets to explain product positioning and key features and benefits. 

In addition, you will:

Prepare documentation and strategic presentation materials required by top management and key stakeholders for Global meetings (new product launch decks, franchise strategy slides, product profiles, comps for sharing, etc.
Monitor weekly/monthly internal sales data and provide relevant reports to help evaluate competitive landscape and influence new product ideas.
Stay abreast of the competitive market by researching beauty trends, studying social channels, shopping for trends/newness and translating into actual product concepts for development.
Contribute to construction and follow up products budget
Contribute to the activation platform to support launches on Y1 and Y2 (claims, storytelling, marketing briefs,…)

We are excited about you if you have:

English native speaker or Fluent in English spoken and written. French is an asset
International experience (outside the continental Europe) and mindset is a must
Education type MBA or equivalent degrees from major business schools, ideally with Marketing major
Experience in a beauty industry, with an advanced knowledge of market trends and strong marketing/product development and innovation skills 
Capacity to navigate in a complex corporate/matrix organization and to partner with international counterparts
Business and financial acumen and capacity to provide consumer facts to drive thinking and solid decisions, strong analytical skills
At ease with market data, market and consumer analysis and research
A team player, open minded and agile
Open to travel (within France and abroad) to visit business partners and suppliers or teams worldwide
