The Product Management team is composed by strategic thinkers and influencers who share one overarching goal: make innovation happens.
At Smart, this team is the critical bridge between technical solutions, design and business: it gathers the needs of end-users, evaluates market trends and our competition, uses this information to identify what features bring the most value to our clients and transform it into actionables roadmaps.
Your mission ?
A hundreds of billions USD market is about to shift from traditional TV advertising execution to digital and addressable advertising. In this context Smart is aiming at offering an independant alternative to the technology platform of the GAFA for broadcaster and telco to keep control of their advertising and data transactions platform. Smart has a unique track record in building advertising technology & data infrastructure. We are the only fully integrated ad solution for publishers offering unique ad management & yield optimization capabilities as well as a mature monetization platform. With a strong video track record we are accelerating our development by launching a video dedicated product suite.
As Video Product Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the success of this key development project for Smart, by defining the product vision and go-to market plan, and managing its delivery with dedicated means and resources:
define the Video product roadmap with the objective to deliver both the set of features expected by premium broadcasters and telcos, and innovative value propositions which will differentiate Smart from the competition and solve key publishers challenges
participate in identification of sponsors, future clients who will challenge the roadmap and provide feedbacks
liaise with the Data Analysts, Marketing and Finance teams to define your business plan and track the KPIs to assess the performance and value generated by your projects, take part in quarterly business reviews
build the team to deliver your product vision, liaise with our CTO and R&D team leads to define development resources needs, participate in recruitments
animate the development team, communicate product specifications and control closely developments progress
identify main market trends to drive and support your product strategy, benchmark solutions of the market, take part in market events with the objective to be recognized as a trusted expert of the domain
work closely with the Marketing team to ensure the best go-to-market, evangelize internally and externally, support sales operations
report directly to our Product Director, access preferably to our Chief Strategy Officer and Smart Executive Team, organize monthly steering committees
About you ?
Master degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
5+ years experience in Product Management and roadmap definition in a digital environment
Experience in broadcast industry, deep understanding of broadcasters’ advertising business rules and ad tech ecosystem
Strong analytical background with methodology
Ability to build strong relationships across departments
Drive to push your ideas end-to-end
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
