What does the job consist of ?
Soitec Business is growing and we are really convinced by the value of our products and the differentiation they provide to the different markets we target and in particular the automotive market.
In order to accelerate the penetration of our products, our BU manager is looking for a product marketing manager who will be responsible for the product marketing strategy of the BU, in particular the identification of product value, the promotion of our products but also the long term pricing strategy based on the competitive analysis.
In this role, you will work closely with strategic marketing, product managers and business development managers on our current and future products. You will define the unique product value proposition and prepare marketing materials to communicate product features and benefits to attract new customers.
Leading the Go-to-Market process, you will support the product’s strategy starting with business case analysis, defining product market acceptance price based on unique value proposition and competitive market research. You will also monitor product demand and adoption relying on the sales team that you will train in order to make them successful in selling our products.
With a global vision of the whole value chain, you will have to meet our customers as well as our customer’s customers and you’ll be sensitive to the results of the promotion actions on the ecosystem.
Your background profile
You’ve gained a minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry interfacing with customers, with significant experience in marketing strategy and in the “Go to market” process.
You have a proven experience in power electronics and are willing to expand your skills to other products within the BU.
Your technical skills allow you to understand the challenges of power electronics in the automotive market. Your experience and network allow you to have a comprehensive understanding of the global automotive ecosystem (from IDM up to car makers).
Fluent in English, you are used to working with different cultures.
Your leadership, your sense of commitment and your strong communication skills will allow you to manage your external and internal partners.
The position is located in Grenoble but requires flexibility for frequent travel in different regions (Asia, US, Europe).
