To support our growth, we are recruiting a Product Owner for our Cloud Platform Services team in Nantes.
Talend Platform is a project where we develop micro services eg. Identity & Access Management, Logging, Security, Metrics collection services etc. which can be consumed by all Talend applications and products. This project does not only provide the services but also the user interface related to the services. Additionally we develop runtime environment/server which can execute Talend Data pipelines eg. Data integration, BigData, Data preparation jobs.

Your responsibilities

Owner of the Product Backlog for Platform services project including the definition of priorities within the backlog. Actively break down of new features into user stories and do timely and qualified review of bug reports. Support the product management team in requirement management process for new releases by providing requirements, qualified feedback and estimations. Guidance for the development team in technical questions and continuous improvement of the code quality. Selection, validation and introduction of new technologies into the product and to the development teams. Since platform services are core to the platform and affects all projects in Talend, cross project communication and expectation management is an important part of the role. Actively support our customers with technical and usage information (e.g. via forum, Jira etc.)

Your profile

BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Practical experience in Cloud(AWS or Azure) and micro services domain. Practical experience with CI pipelines and continuous delivery. You worked as Product Owner, as a Lead Software Architect, a technical Scrum Master before and took responsibility for a product or project delivery. Knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following technologies would be a good fit: Spring boot, Docker, Kubernetes, IAM (Identity & Access management), serverless processing, Service Mesh, Cloud Technologies, e.g. Hybrid cloud, Data security on cloud, Data ingestion etc. Experience in using Akka and doing Java, Scala coding on your own and good understanding of the typical SDLC and related tools like git, junit, gradle, Jenkins and others. Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience in working within a distributed international agile team environment.
