The Aerospace and Defence (A&D) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Product Manager to join the product management team in EMEA. The role will primerally manage the regional EMI/EMP filter product line with a strong focus on growth. The Product Manager will manage all aspects of a product line and portfolio in EMEA. Driving new design-in and growth opportunities together in parallel with the existing portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for regional product strategy which will align with the global plan.

What you will be doing:

Exercise product line leadership Work collaboratively with sales, manufacturing and suppliers Provide booking and sales forecasts Manage the P&L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolio Track the business plan and facilitate resolution of gaps. Champion new business opportunities Attend customer meetings in support of new and existing business Lead the commercial bid activities and special pricing requests Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans Provide inputs to marketing for the development of collateral, including e-commerce Support sales and technical teams providing training and development materials Be the champion for resolution of product issues (e.g., quality, delivery, etc.) What your background should look like: Technical degree required with good understanding of business Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferred

Experience:

Product management or sales experience Relevant product or industry experience desired (connectors industry) Business acumen and ability to create strong relationships with the customer Technical aptitude (electronics background, RF and/or EMI experience would be an advantage) Experience in working in an international and multi-cultural environment Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify complex concepts Proficient MS Office user Result-oriented way of working Fluency in English & a European 2nd language Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation
