Responsibilities:

Lead the performance testing strategy of products in scope

Create test strategy, performance test plans, and monitor execution

Define and implement best practices and better tooling for performance testing

Propose improvement plans and related budget. Support establishing yearly rolling cost budget

Design, execute and report on performance tests of products in scope:

Design and implement performance test cases according to the test plans of the products under care. Execute performance test campaigns, report results, indicate areas of improvement.

Manage the performance-related defect stock, create and follow-up on performance defects

Review and support the writing of non-functional requirements, such as system capacity projections, including API traffic. volumes, servers, network, storage capacities, page response times, etc.

Manage and improve their test coverage

Maintain a test base for regression testing of performance-related non functional requirements.

Collect and analyze results data describing the application performance characteristics/trends and publish them, analyze and interpret results and report on key performance indicators

Test cases, execution reports, dashboards

Defect status & severity, performance test design

Lead tooling and process improvements in performance testing:

Participate in or lead root cause analysis and complex system performance investigations.

Lead performance testing to support continuous performance improvements of our products

Gain a technical and functional understanding of our architecture and become part of the ongoing improvement of the performance.

Take ownership of the performance chapter of our test planning, in collaboration with QA engineers, to design and develop automated Performance, Stability, Scalability, Reliability, and Load tests.

Lead the constant improvement of our Performance Test Automation practices, and secure their implementation

Define common standards for performance / benchmarking reports and help teams to create them.

Define, support and track performance improvement plans.

Advisory analysis, reports and presentations on performance testing

Proactive best practice sharing and coaching actions on performance testing

Profile :

 Engineer or university degree with at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance.

In-depth knowledge of performance testing tools and monitoring tools

Hands-on experience and knowledge of the standard tools for CI and dashboards in the software industry, and can program / automate with proficiency in at least scripting languages (shells, perl / python, etc.)

Experience with SQL, REST API testing.

The ability to work independently while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort. A can-do person with a constructive mindset, a team player
