We are looking for an experienced communications professional to join our Communications Department. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating communications activities related to the Group’s transformation and being the business partner for several Group functions (Sustainability, Supply Chain, HR, Legal and Finance).

WHAT WILL I DO ?

As a Business Partner for the Group’s transformation and functions: Sustainability, Supply Chain, HR, Legal and Finance, you:

Provide strategic communications support for Sonepar’s transformation including writing the overall messaging per function and setting communications plans
Take part in function meetings when and if appropriate
Provide Group wide communications about Transformation at a Group level and to all Sonepar Regions/Countries
Provide key messaging for International Communications Committee and share local best practices
Set, communicate and maintain timelines and budget for every topic within a project.
Coordinate resources across communications team (digital, brand, events, content)
Manage communications agencies relationships
Ensure that Sonepar’s interests, especially in the areas of reputation and brand protection, are properly represented and preserved.
Provide KPIs on activities

WHAT AM I BRINGING TO THE TEAM ?

Knowledge / Background

At least 5-7 years of experience
Proven experience of working in an international company
Excellent level of English and French (preferably bilingual), with other languages an asset

Soft skills

Ability to interact with sensitivity, efficiency, and professionalism with all kinds of people, create a climate of trust and appreciate the needs and expectations of business partners’ expectations
Ability to have an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work independently, multitask, and deliver on time.
Be a team player and aim to be a key element in a small team actively contributing to Sonepar’s interests.
Provide an optimum professional and personal contribution to Sonepar Communications team.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and able to integrate quickly into a new environment

Energetic, resilient and rigorous
Creative, solution-oriented and agile

Hard skills

Proven experience in the project management of medium- to large-scale international communication projects
Knowledge of decision-making processes
