What’s it all about?

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), the consulting arm of Visa, is a global team of industry experts in strategy, marketing, operations, risk, crypto and digital consulting, and more with decades of experience in the payments industry. Our VCA teams offers

VCA Hub team is looking for an individual to join our VCA Europe team and play a vital role developing VCA European practice areas as per clients and market needs and lead the content developments, knowledge management and service industrialization around it.

What we expect of you, day to day.

This position can be based in London or Germany. 

As a Senior Manager (Solutions & Content Lead for VCA Europe), you will be supporting the Head of Portfolio Optimization & Solutions and will be working with all Practice area teams and its respective leads being responsible for orchestrating and governing the VCA Europe Practice Areas developments, share knowledge and content across VCA Europe, stakeholder functions and VCA globally and develop training programs to upskill the VCA Europe team.

The Senior Manager (Innovation & Design Lead) VCA Europe will report to VCA Portfolio Optimization & Solutions Lead, Europe and work towards the team’s and business goals and assist in the delivery of service industrialization, leading communication and facilitating trainings to elevate knowledge within the VCA European team.

Job Scope

Our dynamic team of is looking for a solution-oriented, efficient, and self-driven Senior Solutions & Content Manager, with a passion to develop knowledge, content and assets across exciting topics shaping the future of payments in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. It should be someone with strong written and verbal communication skills, practice and program management experience, big picture mindset and ability to break it down into single initiatives!

Core responsibilities

Be a champion for work delivered by the Practice area teams across Europe, developing compelling content and assets to increase efficiency and scalability of our team’s knowledge, our thought-leadership and our perspective on payments industry capabilities and trends.

Help to identify channels and platforms to share our work and impact (internal and external) – e.g., articles, video content, newsletters, event presentations, Visa portals for internal team updates, etc.

Drive scale and industrialization to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency and continue to drive practice maturing and industrialization across our VCA practice areas

Continue to standardize and industrialize our service offerings to scale project delivery

Steer the developments of EU Practice Areas, Service Lines and Engagement Types

Ensure leverage / recycling of clusters assets in support of solution industrialization (model, best practice, methodology)

Attend, support and align with VCA Global Solutions team and VCA EU stakeholders on the progress of global solutions developments

Responsible for quarterly Steerco sessions and provide regular (monthly) management updates on industrialization progress and status of maturity and

Leading building a catalogue of all standardized service offering linked to the PA’s platform channels with the respective content and material on MS Teams home pages as well as the service catalogue

Export EU-specific set-plays to support other regions to be shared on KX and support Global solutions roll-outs

Continue to drive knowledge management and knowledge sharing culture by improving and maintaining content on MS Teams asset-ups as main platform and improve team interaction and effectiveness of VCA EU internal communications

Drive internal communication about the PA progress and work with agency partners to develop compelling content such improve effectiveness of our communication channels (homepages, posts, lunch & learns etc.)

Lead efforts for the team to share assets on the Global functional platform and report KPI fulfilment

Consulting Skills/SME overview by reviewing skills, knowledge, and experience of VCA EU Consulting team with annual skills survey to understand level of experience, subject matter experts and to identify gaps within the team

Lead training facilitation through Lunch & Learns as per Practice area developments topics and amplify the right messages throughout the VCA team and beyond

Oversee the creation of sales materials, demos, infographics, videos, and other animated content to showcase bundled product experiences and VCA solutions & offers in an engaging and compelling way

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 8+ years’ experience in a Consulting, Marketing, Comms and/or creative agency preferred.
This role would be great for a generalist with a wide skill set, or someone who has a focused skill set in one area (e.g., Project Management or Communications), and wants to build their career by adding a new skill sets and areas of expertise
• Experienced in Stakeholder management, Leadership across borders and multicultural environment with ability to motivate and mobilize several teams
• Ability to work on white space developments, solid in Program & Practice management, experienced in Business planning and Process developments
• Proven ability as a communicator and program leader across various formats in a previous role
• Program management and content/ knowledge management experience, with the ability to demonstrate managing a complex program/ project with multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable with taking initiative and making independent decisions around aspects of your role to ensure efficiency and delivery of work (e.g., you are comfortable taking ownership of your role)
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Apps and experienced in business intelligence tools, especially working with MS Teams & SharePoint
• Experience developing a point of view or perspective on future trends and topics, or any other experience working in a thought-leadership capacity, is a plus
