The IT DevOps Lead Developer will be part of the squad (in Paris) taking care of the develop and run the component which will connect SAP to Allianz Trade Master platform in near real time.

• Develop and monitor the various components in the area of responsibility and maintenance end-to-end

• Participate in the design & architecture of the new components that will enable the near real time communication between Allianz Trade Master platform and SAP through Kinesis

• Support the implementation of DevOps practises across the team (you build it, you run it, in a compliant environment)

• Identify and drive continuous technology improvements

• Nurture and support the internal and external colleagues with technical and functional expertise (regular follow-up and team collaboration)

• Ensure the implementations of team follows the Allianz Trade standards and best practices

• Provide clear communication about production incidents and take proactive and appropriate measures

• Work closely with other IT teams (Allianz Trade & Allianz stakeholder), product owners, Tech lead to better understand possible impacts of projects, plan accordingly, and helping make informed decisions

• This position will report to Tech lead/Manager of Finance DevOps Team

The integration with the main Allianz Trade architecture guidelines, i.e.:

• Cloud First (AWS)

• Modular micro-service design

• Serverless principles

• API interfaces

• Data-driven design

• Resilient Architecture

The APIs development is following a modern technical stack, ie :

• Serverless Back-end micro-services and API (REST, GraphQL) with NodeJS

• Knowledge of cloud native development in AWS

• DynamoDB, RDS

• CICD pipeline used with GitLab / IAC with Terraform

• Test automation with Gatling, Cucumber, Localstack

Main Financial applications:

• Fit+1 applications: Main Group Finance applications (SAP FI/ CO, BW, FS-RI) providing finance services for the Allianz Trade Group and local applications and towards Allianz.

• Local SAP application: DACH Commission Management (PAS)

• Operations support for non-SAP Finance applications: Finance+, Soliam and Yooz

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Strong IT experience in cloud native development using NodeJS

• Strong knowledge in AWS and Serverless architecture

• Familiar in DevOps environment with GitLab CI/CD

• Experience in working Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Nice to have experience in Hybrid environment (Cloud + OnPrem)

• Functional knowledge in financial area (e.g. payment, dunning, closing, banking/ bank statements, Tax, reconciliation, audit)

• Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skill

• Very good communication skills both verbal and written while being able to promote, challenge and coach fellow team members

• Flexibility and open minded, collaborative and agile attitude

• Able to work independently with ability to learn and adapt quickly in new environments

• Fluent in English (written and verbal), French is a plus
