FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER (M/W)



Diabeloop’s mission is to make technological disruptive innovations accessible to people with Type 1
diabetes. To fulfill this commitment we work everyday with families and patients to co-build projects
with real-life positive impact.

Born, in 2015, out of a medical research project, our company gathers the talents of 70 team
members, in Grenoble, where the headquarters are located, and Paris.

Our first product, the DBLG1 System, is an external medical device embedding artificial intelligence to
automate insulin delivery. After receiving CE marking in November 2018, we are now focusing on a
progressive commercial roll-out in Europe.

In order to support this strategy and the ever growing interest around Diabeloop and its solutions we
are looking for a Front-end web developer (M/W).

The Front-end web developer will be part of the team responsible for the data visualization web
platform used by our patients as well as clinicians/doctors. This agile team is currently composed of 6
full-stack engineers. As a full member of this team, you will be involved in the Agile everyday
activities.
The front-end competencies is what we are looking for in the mid-term but many other possibilities
can derive from there.

The Platforms team is very cloud-oriented and always looking for ways to improve CI/CD activities, by
automating tasks as much as possible.



YOUR MAIN TASKS:

Work on the data visualization platform which is used by the patients equipped with a Diabeloop system and clinicians/doctors : Enhance existing web components Develop new web components interacting with backend APIs Bring knowledge and experience of web development to the team Implement unit and integration tests Ensure responsiveness of the platform Propose new features Work with Product Owner and Design Team for implementing new features
Work in CI/CD environment
Evolve in a medical context with Quality and Regulatory rules and processes

YOUR COMPETENCIES:

Nodejs React/Redux HTML/DOM/CSS/Less

Responsive design, Bootstrap Webpack Testing/Debugging (mocha, sinon, chai, webdriver.io, browser developer tools…) Linux Version Control (GIT) APIs

These are not required but are a plus:

AWS Cloud Containers architectures (Docker/Kubernetes) CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Travis) Infrastructure as code Go language Mobile and cross platforms development (React Native, Xamarin, Flutter etc...) Android native apps development Scripting (bash, python, powershell)

YOUR PROFILE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experienceJunior profiles are accepted for this job
You are a techy person and want to be part of a technical team
You like web development
You have good communication skills and a strong team spirit
Your level of English allows you to read/write technical documentations
You want to bring your stone to helping people with diabetes
You like taking initiatives, you have a strong capacity to solve and get around problem after problem,

Not required but appreciated:

Knowledge of the Medical Devices sector would be a big plus
