Our Division Digital Services Factory is looking for a Technical Lead (f/m) for our site in Paris, France.

The Digital Services Factory (DSF) is a fast-growing team in charge of driving the data transformation of the Group and its divisions. Among other, the DSF leads projects enabling Faurecia to become a data-driven organization through a facilitated access to reliable data in support of business decisions and AI solutions for operational excellence and improved efficiency.

Your main duties and responsibilities

To respond to rising demand, we are looking to enrich our team by recruiting a Technical Lead.

In this position, you will need to:

Use agile methodology
Work closely with the product owner and the stream director to design features and prioritize tasks
Work with technical data engineers in India
Translates functional requirements into technical tasks for the development team
Coordinate the ticket creation and allocation and contributes to their delivery
Guide the technical decisions of the project team



Own the project pipelining and technical knowledge
Recommend the technical solutions to match functional requirements
Be responsible for review process and technical documentation
Be responsible for estimating, defining, and holding technical deadlines.

The Technical Lead is also tasked with complex modeling, discovering insights, and identifying business opportunities using algorithmic, statistical, visualization, and mining techniques.

Managerial, communication and soft skills are also important as you will have to interact and collaborate with internal experts to identify new projects, present results and share pros and cons of technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audience to decide on optimal approach.

Required Qualifications and skills

Engineering degree or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years of experience in data science or data engineering
Experience working with distributed computation languages such as PySpark
Excellent understanding of data analysis, machine learning, deep learning
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience working with computation languages such as Python, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JAVA
Experience in business analysis and insights creation for customers
Substantial experience working on strategy or full-life cycle data science
Excellent verbal and written skills in English, conversational level in French is a strong plus
A PhD in a quantitative field is a plus.

Understanding and ideally experience with Reinforcement Learning methods


Experience in signal and image processing
Experience in forecasting and time series modeling
Experience with computer vision libraries like OpenCV
Experience using cloud platforms
Experience with versioning control systems (git).
