Role Focus:

As a Data Scientist Senior Manager, you will lead the data science team and act as the Chapter Lead Algorithm within the Data Science Squad. You will be in charge of establishing a roadmap of the recommender system vertical.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a data science team and establish shared vision and roadmap of the recommender system vertical As a senior data scientist, you will be responsible for designing, building, improving, profiling and maintaining our in-house algorithms, ranging from product formulation to several types of recommender engines. Be a technical referent on ML and IA libraries and frameworks. Ship stable, high-quality code to which you are proud to be a contributor Deliver excellent software through comprehensive peer-reviews, CI, and automated testing Bring your personal expertise and ideas to help solve problems creatively and effectively Promote the company’s mission and values

Ideal Candidate:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in data science, with a prior experience as a manager You love algorithms and new technology. You are also a great team worker and a great communicator in French and English. Strong experience on recommendation systems Strong experience with Python, along with common libraries such as Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas Experience building robust Restful APIs (Flask, FastAPI, or Django) A knack for writing clean, readable and maintainable code Proficient with Git, a Unix shell, an editor (or IDE) and all others day-to-day developer tools
