About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist at Vestiaire Collective, you will be working closely with the rest of the Data Team to create and manage algorithm used across the company. You will be working on a project to improve and optimize the customer experience and help our users navigate our ever-growing catalog of unique products.

You will also support the other teams by designing and refining new solutions using data and machine learning and by using your expertise in statistics and probability to help analyze complex data and test results.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with other teams to define solutions leveraging our data and machine learning Identify new opportunities for data science to support the business growth Fully manage the modeling life cycle: research, validate and support the productionisation and deployment of your models Be an advocate for the data driven culture and statistical analysis. Who you are

3+ years of industry experience and a Master's degree in a quantitative field; PhD a plus Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments A "business owner" mindset, with a keen interest in strategy and operations Strong written and verbal communication Strong analytical mindset Fluency in the core toolkit of Data Science: R/Python, SQL, Docker Manipulating large-scale data sets Building data pipelines Descriptive and predictive modeling.
