As a Country Communication Manager you will play a key role in Communication within the Electrification Business Functions by ensuring a coherent internal and external communication strategy for France aligned with the region, the Electrification business and the group. You will be responsible for defining the strategic directions and positioning of the brand in France. Operatively you will drive the action plan and the communication budget of Electrification Business and for Corporate Communication of ABB France.

Your responsibilities
You will propose and manage a yearly communication plan for France, validated by the management team and the CMD (Country Managing Director) and act as the French contact in the South Europe Communication team and the Group Including:
Development of media relations in coordination with our agency
Crisis communication (media, internal communication), you will : participate in working groups on identified subjects, prepare and publish communications and act as spokesperson for the management
Ensure the consistency of activities with Group branding rules
Define and set-up adequate corporate advertising campaigns for the country
Define and manage internal communication actions (Information / magazine, staff meetings, intranet)
Design and development of the strategic digital transformation of communication
You will propose and manage a yearly communication plan for EL business in France in coordination with EL Group communication and South Europe Team, including :
Definition of the communication strategy for the market
Selection of the appropriate actions to develop in order to support sales initiatives and achieve business objectives
Measure the results of the actions carried out by implementing KPIs and adjust according to the results
Manage the EL and Corporate communication team in France and coordinate activities with other ABB businesses / activities
Ensure (with the support of the HR manager) that the scope of responsibility is well organized and staffed by qualified and motivated personnel
Your background
A Master degree in Marketing and Communication Studies
Strong know-how in digital tools (how to use, how to make it more efficient and how we could use it to improve communication)
More than 10 years of experience in a similar function in Industrial companies (B2B)
Experience in digital communication : development and implementation of digital tools in communication or strategic marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills - Fluency in English and in French
