Accenture Strategy Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced and agile marketing manager to join the Accenture Strategy Marketing & Communications team. The individual will have day-to-day responsibility for assist in developing one of a small suite of global, multi-year Issue Based marketing campaigns aimed at building awareness and understanding for Accenture Strategy and its differentiated market position as well as engaging clients in measurable interactions. They will also have day-to-day responsibility for delivering the campaign under the leadership of a member of the M&C leadership team.
Content is at the heart of all Accenture Strategy marketing, and our Content Led, Issue Based, Digitally Enabled campaigns are aimed at ensuring that Accenture Strategy becomes known for its client centric content in the form of provocative and data backed points of view on the issues most relevant to the C-Suite.
The successful individual will be a very well rounded marketer with superior communications skills both orally and in writing and a track record of being able to influence a broad range of executive stakeholders and marketing colleagues. They will see themselves as evangelists for the very disciplined, content led approach at the core of our marketing strategy. They will be assertive, articulate and agile in their work style. This is a role for new age marketers who understand the strategic value that marketing can and must be able to deliver to the business as well as being able to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to add value.
Responsibilities Lead an issue based marketing campaign under the direction of an Accenture Strategy Marketing executive including all aspects of integrated marketing, from the identification and development of content, to sophisticated market segmentation and targeting of clients. o As a first priority, work with marketing leadership to proactively identify and shape a robust content portfolio tied to agreed issues that underpin each Issue Based Campaign. o Design and run digital campaigns components (email, social media, online groups, etc.) across segments, as well as identifying managing relevant events. o Provide significant measurable contributions to the SOV, awareness and understanding of Accenture Strategy as a new business that is both distinct and connected to the rest of Accenture in the context of each issue based campaign. Work with marketing colleagues in the geographies and industries to identify and articulate alignment opportunities for content development and delivery. o Be fluent in the issues underpinning all Accenture Strategy issue based campaigns and be able to triage content ideas from other parts of Accenture to be in or out of scope for the campaign. o Build relationships with marketing colleagues across the organization to allow early identification of channels and tactics that will provide premium access opportunities to C-suite targets. Excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery of each campaign to agreed outcomes. o Embrace and enable an analytics mindset o Manage and motivate flexible, virtual project teams of marketing colleagues, writers, agencies and shared service members in a hard charging and outcome oriented environment. o Managing the campaign budgets , including quarterly budget forecasts o Managing campaign-specific, monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for the campaigns
Significant experience working in global, highly matrixed organizations o Solid track record working with multiple, global stakeholders in English o Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills o Interest in/ability to absorb and form/articulate sharp perspectives on a broad range of business issues o University degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field OR master’s degree in business/MBA Minimum 7 years B2B marketing experience o B2B social media and innovative digital marketing experience o Strong track record in driving highly targeted multi-channel campaigns o Strong inclination towards using metrics as a guide to campaign efficacy Previous experience developing non-academic, crisp, sharp content o Native/bi-lingual or fluent English o Exceptional spoken and written communication skills Self-starter, driven, highly motivated
