Summary:
Our Field Marketing Manager needs to be an analytical and strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the strength of character to excel in an energetic atmosphere. You need to have a strong attention to detail, be well organized and an effective cross-functional communicator. Candidates must also be flexible and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and be able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Key objectives include:
Drive overall field marketing and demand generation strategy and execution to meet required lead, pipeline and won business objectives as well as penetration of target accounts and sectors in alignment with Regional Sales GTM strategy.
Drive new and creative field marketing and demand generation activities including events, online advertising, PPC, direct marketing, social tools, webinars, in person events, tradeshows, collateral and customer case studies in local language as
appropriate.
Team closely with APJ Sales team to drive go to market strategy in region and achievement of business goals.
Work directly with partners and channels team to define and implement joint marketing campaigns.
Create, execute and manage partner marketing programs in alignment with the APJ marketing strategy and supporting partners on delivery of local programs and events
Clearly set expectations and establish accountability for deadlines with all related cross functional teams involved with program development and execution
Manage all elements of PR and Communications in region, working with a third party agency to identify key opportunities for brand awareness and exposure, increasing Acquia's voice in the region
Be the go-to person for the field in all matters of marketing, ensuring all marketing program details are effectively communicated and supporting the field sales team with local prospecting and lead maturation activity
Required Skills/ Experience:
This is a multi-disciplined role, giving broad exposure across all areas of marketing. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of achievement, proven ability to learn quickly on the job and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous experience of driving and generating pipeline through the following:
Multi channel lead generation direct marketing campaigns including email, pay per click, website management, online advertising, list rental, syndication & guaranteed lead campaigns
Developing, executing and managing webinars
Customer engagement program
Events including trade shows, conferences and self-run executive programs
Cooperative Partner marketing initiatives
Strong project management skills and experience, including managing external agencies
Candidates should be proficient in MS office applications
Salesforce.com and marketing automation (ideally Marketo) experience is required
Experience with sales operations, reporting, marketing & campaign dashboards and KPIs
Analytical and results oriented individual in tune with revenue marketing principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills to earn the trust and respect from peers and sales management.
Must possess a passion for learning industry-leading marketing tactics and best practices
Knowledge of Open-Source technology or of marketing to a 'digital' audience is preferred
Ability to craft great collateral and structure and write compelling copy.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to translate resources, collateral, website from English to Japanese
Desired Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a digitally-led B2B marketing role.
Experience of developing marketing programs for enterprise targets
Ability to demonstrate marketing impact on bookings via account based marketing plans.
Prior experience in high technology/enterprise software in a field marketing role is required.
Ability to craft great collateral and structure and write compelling marketing copy for campaigns.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from sales management.
Experience with sales operations, reporting, marketing & campaign dashboards and KPIs
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
Willingness to travel.
