Mission:
We currently have an International Brand Marketing Manager career opportunity at our Charenton (France) location within the Brands team of the Global Marketing Department. You will be in charge of developing marketing strategies and building necessary elements to support the activation for one of the latest Essilor lens innovation: Stellest™, a breakthrough innovation to slowdown children’s myopia progression.
Brand strategy:
Define marketing strategies to accelerate the brand growth and reaffirm our leadership within this new category with a strong medical angle: product portfolio, price positioning and distribution strategy
Analyze value chain for the brand, providing guidance and reference data on pricing
Animate brand community with local marketing teams to ensure cross-fertilizing
Product innovation:
Collaborate with R&D to build product definition, identify consumer and professional needs
Collaborate with Consumer and Market Insight experts to co-design studies and test needed for innovation
Collaborate with Education and Professional Affairs team to provide all necessary assets needed for training and engaging Eye Care Professionals and KOLs
Support and follow-up of markets / business unit’s launches while ensuring the consistency of defined strategy
Monitor sales and qualitative feedback to track performance and identify opportunities
Brand communication& activation:
Build 360° communication plan towards Consumers, ECPs & Prescribers to support and accelerate category creation, brand awareness and efficient drive to sales point (Communication package and sales aid materials creation)
The selected individual will be working closely with the other teams of Global Marketing, our regional and local marketing counterparts, as well as all upstream departments such as R&D, New Product Projects, Quality, Finance, Legal, etc…
Requirements for the position
Master of business administration Degree/ Business school or double engineering and marketing degree. A 5-10 years’ experience in Marketing or Business development is required. Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
Optical knowledge, strong scientific background or previous experience in similar industries is required.
Fluent in English (working language)
Power Point & Excel skills
Empathy towards different targets. Ability to build consumers approach as well as operational BtoB marketing actions
Ability to collaborate efficiently with a wide variety of partners upstream and downstream (sales and marketing (region/ networks/countries), logistics, projects, R&D, market research institutes, communication agency, other internal department, in an international environment
Capacity to convince/ influence / federate and take decisions
Ability to structure a strategic recommendation, to build and share a vision on your topics. Very good analytical skills, data driven thinking and capacity to build a synthesis
