Marketing Manager – Personal Care – Your future position?





Are you creative and passionate about fragrances & cosmetics with a strong interest in the product, concept, and olfactive development? As a Marketing Manager at Givaudan, part of the European Creative Center for Consumer Products, you will develop and share market, consumer, and brand expertise in the Personal Care category. You will bring a valuable fragrance marketing service to our customers and drive Givaudan business growth by identifying and promoting product and fragrance opportunities & solutions. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of multinational projects and customer requests related to your assigned category, steering different functions (Sales, CMI, Perfumers, Evaluation) spanning mainly Europe but also other regions globally.

•    Develop Category Knowledge: build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned product categories, monitoring its dynamics (market sizes & shares, new launches activity, competitive landscape), as well as in-depth understanding of customers and brands positioning;



•    Provide Marketing Expertise & Creative Inspiration: in coordination with the Evaluation team, build an olfactive vision of the assigned category, monitoring and anticipating regional and global trends conceptually and olfactively to generate opportunities for fragrance creation;



•    Design & Drive Marketing Programs & Presentations: Initiate and guide new creative marketing programs to address creative team & customers needs, as well as create and deliver customer presentations & creative stories, tailoring Givaudan's value proposition to specific client & market need.



•    Identify Business Opportunities, Bring Value & Customized Value Propositions: drive collaboration with Sales, CMI, and Creative teams (Evaluation, Perfumers) to identify market 'white spaces' and generate business opportuni-ties; Build strong fragrance storytelling, create concepts deeply rooted with consumer insights data & trends, establishing appropriate olfactory directions to creation and assertive olfactive recommendations to customers.



You?

Are you someone who wants to collaborate and learn together with teams who are as passionate as you are? Then come join us! Your professional profile includes: 

•    A degree in marketing education (business school or university)

•    Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in a fragrance house, FMCG company, or experience as a strategic planner or consultant in an advertising agency

•    Collaborative team player with strong communication and networking skills

•    Curious and storytelling strengths

•    Creative solution orientation

•    Analytical imagination (creative and logic balance) 

•    Excellent presentation and high analytical skills

•    Being able to create compelling visual presentations

•    Consumer and customer focus

•    Organized, able to handle complexity, plan and set priorities

•    English is required (written and oral), French recommended
