Marketing Manager – Fabric Care -  Your future position?


This position is part of the European Creative Center for Consumer Products. The aim of this position is to develop and share a market, consumer and brand expertise on the Fabric Care category from a conceptual and olfactive stand point. Bring a valuable fragrance marketing service to the clients and drive the Givaudan business by identifying and promoting product and fragrance opportunities. Manage multi-national projects within various functions (sales, perfumers, evaluation) spanning mainly Europe but also other regions globally.


Expect to exceed customer needs, think beyond to predict the next market theme, deliver value and foster strong relationships. 


Responsibilities: 


•    Develop an assigned category: monitor the category activities (market dynamics, product ac-tivity) ; understand the client brand.

•    Provide a marketing expertise, in coordination with the Evaluation team and build an olfactive vision of the assigned category; monitor and anticipate the regional and global trends con-ceptually and olfactively.

•    Build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned product categories

•    Generate insightful market and consumer analysis featuring opportunities for internal stake-holders and external customers. 

•    Create and deliver client presentations & innovative stories, tailoring Givaudan value proposition to specific client & market needs. 

•    Design marketing programs to address creative team & client needs

•    Identify market 'white space' and ideate new product directions through concept creation : writing, visuals-collaborating with the creative team for synergies with olfactive recommendations

•    Initiate and drive new creative marketing programmes proactively.

•    Work with Sales and Evaluation to establish appropriate olfactory direction to generate or win briefs.


You?

•    A degree in marketing education (business school or university)

•    Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in a fragrance house, FMCG company, or experience as a strategic planner or consultant in an advertising agency

•    Collaborative team player with strong communication and networking skills

•    Curious and storytelling strengths

•    Creative solution orientation

•    Analytical imagination (creative and logic balance) 

•    Excellent presentation and high analytical skills

•    Being able to create compelling visual presentations

•    Consumer and customer focus

•    Organized, able to handle complexity, plan and set priorities

•    English is required (written and oral), French recommended
