JOB PURPOSE :

We are looking for a Global Category Manager to lead the procurement activities for their assigned commodities and to own the entire Procurement process for Suppliers' quality, delivery, cost optimization. As a member of the Global Procurement team, this position is responsible for establishing and executing the multi-year Procurement vision within the Globally defined strategy.
The Global Category Manager will work strategically across multiple business functions and geographies to define all stakeholder needs, Affiliates and Sites best practice, and ideal suppliers.
He/She will BE in charge of the following indirect procurement Categories : Consulting, HR, IT & Telecom.

Main responsibilities :
- Performing detailed analysis of the spend and the market, to create the sourcing strategy of your category.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and identify cost reduction, optimization and build budget.
- Create strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation and improve value.
- Interact with other Corporate & Site Procurement functions to support stakeholders' needs.
- Manage sourcing of suppliers, RFPs and negotiation.
- Prepares and maintains the Savings plan for their assigned categories.
- Improves the company's cash position through negotiation (payment terms, down payments...).
- Put in place master contracts and manage their execution.
- Promote the procurement process and tools.
- Ensures all behaviors and supplier behaviors are compliant to the Guerbet Ethics and Policies.
- Manage the Supplier risks.
- Manage & Leverage the data & analytics (based on the spend cube and category reviews).
- Other projects as assigned.
