Core responsibilities

Brand Planning and implementation (40%)
Drive and execute the annual activation calendar in close collaboration with Trade marketing, Brand Communication team, Digital team, Sales team, and Customer development team in France-Iberia.Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that drive brand equity and build active share (penetration), re-activation (repeat purchase) and frequency (engagement).Input into the France-Iberia Marketing Strategy development, objective setting process and consumer communications planning and ensure efficient marketing plan executions for LEGO themes in France-Iberia.Monitor progress of competitive activity, changing market needs, evolution of shopper behaviors to facilitate modifications on brand strategies when necessary.Provide input into product development process to regional and global stakeholders.Liaise with Brand Managers in other markets to share & reapply best practices.Manage outside media agency partners.Manage partnership relationships as designated brand responsibilities require.
Business Management (40%)
Manage budgets and financials related to marketing campaigns.Constant analysis and evaluation of brand and campaign performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary.Provide marketing support to Sales to accompany the business development of LEGO brands in key French, Spanish and Portuguese key customers.
Project Management (20%)
Input into Cross-functional BU and WE projects to maximise collaboration and coherence of marketing activities.

You are reporting directly to the Brand Director France-Iberia, working in very close collaboration with the whole marketing team.

The BM role is to support the broad France Iberia marketing team’s purpose to lead the strategically important LEGO themes to deliver sustainable growth, by developing and implementing innovative strategy and marketing plans for the LEGO brand, creating strong demand and enabling the brand image to be strengthened amongst the target consumer and shopper.

Do you have what it takes?

Masters or University degree in a business-related or marketing fieldOr equivalent working experience5 years+ experience in Brand Management and Consumer Goods Marketing ideally with a toy, family or gaming/entertainment industry background.Demonstrated track record of driving brand growth and health.Has a strong experience in brand marketing with solid digital capabilities (ecom, social, influence, etc.) and acute perspective on key Digital and Media trends in the market landscape and ideally on children and toys.Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business results.An excellent communicator and Project leader: Strong presentation skills able to demonstrate complex circumstances in a simple and easy to understand way. Very effective at leading cross-functional projects and able to operate with a wide range of people from different parts of the organization and with external partners.Experience from an international company with stakeholders across markets, optimally in France and/or Iberia.English fluent – C1French or Spanish – Native languageCreativity – in defining commercial strategies that drives growth and delivers cutting edge consumer and shopper experience and engagement. Likes to challenge status quo and is motivated by trying out new approaches to continuously raise the bar.Learning – Loves to innovate and push new agendas but also focused on capturing learning and translate those into future actions. Engages with colleagues in other BUs to take and share learnings.Caring – genuinely cares for our brand, people and partners and focused on delivering results without compromising on the four LEGO promises (people, partner, play and planet).
