Global Digital Marketing Manager Consumer Retention (M/W)

Type of contract: CDI, starting as soon as possible

Location: Aimargues, near Montpellier, France

Team : Join the new Digital team of Royal Canin !

Profile: 5 years experience with exposure to digital marketing or e-commerce, including an experience in editorial & iconographic management


In the new Digital team of 4 persons at Royal Canin Headquarters, the Global Digital Marketing Manager Consumer Retention takes part of a new entrepreneurial journey which aim is to develop Royal Canin direct to consumers business.

Through this new route to market, Royal Canin ambition is to:

Serve more pets Push limits of health nutrition Deliver an ultimate brand experience Create a mutual economy with our historical partners Know better our consumers


You are in charge to pioneer the conversion strategy for the direct to consumer business, working in close relationship with global / regional & local teams, and with cross departments interactions.

Your main missions are:


You initiate the journey to deliver strong understanding of the key success factors leading to a successful retention model, by drawing and building the retention operational plan from the testing phase to the final best practice implementation.

Retention model: You define the retention strategy and roadmap for the D2C and create bridges with the others RC digital projects.


Brand experience: In order to assure to deliver the ultimate brand experience through the Flagship Store: You develop the editorial & iconographic content (online & offline) and you assure the respect of the brand positioning & tone of voice You drive the convergence with the brand website (HUB) You manage the website CMS and set the deployment instruction for markets You are responsible for the consumer offline experience (after payment steps, delivery & reception experience, customer care relation…)


CRM & Loyalty Programs You identify the consumers expectations; and build the CRM strategy accordingly, fuel and implement it You create the Flagship Store loyalty program You deliver materials & guidelines to the markets


Consumer satisfaction : You implement the right tools to measure the satisfaction (Hotjar) and track it You turn feedbacks and learnings into recommendations You build the Review & rating management You make the bridge with the customer care responsible


You scale up the learnings for a faster D2C development in the markets.


You drive your project in autonomy and pace, in an agile mode to build and grow the D2C as a startup.

You are proactive, demonstrating leadership to build and develop the D2C business through the length of the conversion.


Is this job for you? Check if you can answer to the following questions:


You have a master degree in business schools or equivalent digital education You have minimum 5 years experience with significant exposure to digital marketing or e-commerce; including ideally an experience in e-commerce acquisition (on pure player or e-retailer) or in start-up business / digital transformation or prescription models You had a previous experience in editorial & iconographic management You are fluent in English; French is nice to have Passion for cats and dogs is welcome
