Category Procurement Manager - Energy

Position purpose:

- Contributes to category sourcing strategy and supports category roadmap development and implementation for Energy

- Maximize value creation along main value lenses, including Sustainable/Renewable Energy, margin improvements, Security of supply
- Creates efficient internal processes and develop efficient collaborative ways of working with PR affiliates and central functions
- Develop best practices on Energy procurement with Packaging suppliers, where appropriate
- The position reports directly to the Raw material & Energy Category Director

The main responsibilities are:

Supports the development of the Global Pernod Ricard category strategy

Develop medium term category strategy

Lead the Pernod Ricard project to move to 100% renewable electricity by 2025

Build & Drive Energy supply roadmap, with affiliates teams

Work in collaboration with Packaging Procurement Directors to implement new ways of working on indirect Energy cost.

Is responsible for execution of contracting strategy, and build category S&R roadmap to support Group Sustainability agenda

Is accountable for developing Energy hedging startegy

Plays a key role in supplier identification

Develop category market dynamics and secures good supplier intelligence

Is part of strategic interface towards suppliers - builds strong and strategic relationships with providers

Onboards stakeholders at all levels & facilitates Coordinated ways of working with affiliates and corporate functions

Develops effective implementation plans for global activities, follows closely with affiliates on identified local initiatives

Provides escalation support to find solutions for ongoing requests

Actively participates to the Pernod Ricard Procurement transformation

Leads development and implementation of best practice procurement tools and processes

The profile required is:

Professional

Highly experienced procurement professional with successful, multi-year track record in a procurement/sales organization on Energy at regional or global level

Technical

In-depth knowledge on Sustainable Energy procurement

Experienced in Energy hedging

Very good knowledge of sourcing processes and méthodologies

Advanced negotiator, developed problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills: verbal and presenting, proficient in English

Practical experience and capabilities in digital & e-sourcing tools
