Trade Marketing Manager


Key roles and responsibilities:



Understand channels dynamics, evolution and needs of different types of channels and customer segments
Set brand priorities per channel and type of outlet and allocate Trade Marketing budget accordingly
Implement commercial drive cycle to increase the commercial results in driving distribution, depletion and share of market gains ensuring positive ROI
Identify store-level opportunities and set dedicated plans to drive executional excellence in field, with merchandising tracking system
Set visibility targets and priorities (shelf space, special displays)
Develop guidelines and supporting material to help field Sales force implement those targets through trainings and clarification of development areas
Perform trade visits in KA and traditional off-trade stores in order to evaluate partners and KA field force performance
Coordinate with marketing in order to accompany brand plan with specific brand promotions (adapted to different types of clients)
Ensure on-trade leadership in terms of presence and visibility

Main contacts outside Pernod Ricard : Sales & Marketing managers at distributor teams
Main contacts within Pernod Ricard: PR MENA marketing team, Area Managers, customer service, Supply chain, Finance departments

Comments :  Trips to main organized markets of PR MENA (Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus, ...), and to PR seminars.

Profile :


Education :


Business school or similar level from University


Professional background expected :



3 to 5 years of sales/trade marketing experience, preferably in the spirits business or in the MENA region
Demonstrated a track record of guiding and developing a team

Languages and other competencies :



English : fluent
French: fluent
Excellent skills in presentations / super user of Windows pack office (Powerpoint, Excel)

Leadership skills:



Self-Starter, conscientious and uses initiative
Comfortable working self-guided
Flexible and adaptable to change
Passionate and committed to the role and PR brands
Commercially astute and a great negotiator
A team player that encourages collaboration
Ability to guide decisions made by key internal and external stakeholders
