The Brand Manager for France will manage the French marketing/commercialization strategies that will drive profitable and sustainable growth for SharkNinja. You will drive our product launches and marketing activities to maximize sales and profits for the brand within our SharkNinja team
in France. You will contribute effectively to the development of brand strategy, help shape the marketing plan development, and ensure excellence of execution in market. Also you help in the planning and organizing events to achieve short-range and long-range business development objectives.
Experience & Key Responsibilities
Proven track record in overseeing brand development, preferably in a consumer goods, FMCG, space in France
A successful track record of bringing new products to market, growing reach for existing products and moving and raising the profile of brands into the into France
Leading all new brand activations across France
Overseeing the delivery of our brand and marketing activities reflecting brand values
Responsibility for short, mid-term and long-term brand planning strategy
Monitoring & evaluating marketing activity and campaigns
Development and management of all external agency relationships and partnerships including press and influencer marketing)
Supporting French Sales Team in customer trainings, show attendances.
Ownership of the brand, being the interface between NPD and Digital Marketing ensuring our customers are communicated appropriately across all channels
Ownership and management of the brand marketing budget
Deliver fully integrated campaigns to achieve maximum impact
Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including our company website; print communication; advertising and external PR agencies.
Strategy, coordination and execution of key marketing materials (business development decks, brochures, campaign material etc)
Content marketing approach – leveraging assets across different channels
Developing marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, win strategies, schedules and action assignments
Assist with managing a rolling 6-24 month "pipeline" of qualified new products for designated product portfolio. New product development will include developing marketing and product strategies including product definition, range development, branding, required features, packaging, pricing, etc.
Essential Attributes
5+ years leadership in brand marketing / E2E Marketing activities equivalent
Be able to speak Fluent English & French
Ideally already a Brand Manager or similar and ready to take a step up into a leadership position with a pedigree of successful brand launch and activation
Understands the importance of tone of voice and imagery to customers
Ability to understand and interpret customer segmentation and analysis
An ability to understand the full product lifecycle from development to marketing and sale and ensure the brand values, consumer communication is managed between New Product Design and Digital Marketing
Inspirational leader with excellent management and team development skills
Entrepreneurial mindset
Hugely proactive individual, able to think outside the box under pressure
A self-starter with an ability to work without close supervision
An academic thinker, creative problem solver
To have a flair for innovation and creative marketing thinking
Excellent communication and written skills including copywriting
Strong appreciation of brand messaging and values, as well as how to implement successful and far-reaching marketing campaigns
Reporting to the French MD but working closely with the France and UK teams - you will drive the culture of SharkNinja and actively support the development of our growth within France. You’ll be confident, diplomatic and organized with a customer and product centric approach and the skill to deal with stakeholders within the business at all levels. You will provide strategic advice to upper management, focusing on commercial and marketing strategies with the passion to drive the business forward
