The role & mission :

That's where you come in ! We're looking for an experienced, visionary, and people-centric brand leader to join us as Head of Brand & Communications. You'll lead and inspire a squad of Brand, Comms, and Community professionals to elevate Spendesk's brand, grow our audience and drive category and product awareness globally.

This role reports directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. You'll work closely with other marketing team leads to understand business needs and support from a brand marketing perspective.

The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, self-directed, and focused on outcomes over output. You'll need strong cross-team collaboration skills, a coaching mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale up environment.

What you'll do :
- Define our brand strategy & roadmap to drive more awareness, engagement, and brand preference among our audience.
- BE a champion and guardian of the Spendesk brand, ensuring all channels execute content in alignment with brand vision and values.
- Manage the brand & comms budget allocation between agencies, paid channels, content and community initiatives.
- Develop Content and PR campaigns mapped to brand narratives, business objectives, key announcements, and events.
- Lead our organic social media strategy to build audiences through our owned channels.
- Support our Community team in growing the CFO Connect network, improving our brand visibility and thought leadership position.
- Measure & report on brand impact and influence, working closely with our Ops and Data teams to set up the right tooling and processes.
- Manage and lead the Brand & Comms team, helping team members grow continuously, reach objectives and develop their talent.

Your competency profile :
- 7+ years of marketing/ communications/ brand experience, with a track record of developing successful brand campaigns and marketing plans.
- Team player and dedicated people manager, passionate about leading and coaching.
- Collaborative : You have demonstrated success working cross-functionally and have the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with external and internal partners.
- Creative : You're not afraid to BE bold and challenge the status quo. You have a keen eye and creative sensibility for copy, design, video, and social content.
- Storyteller : You know how to craft compelling brand stories that differentiate us, and inspire action from prospects, customers, and candidates.
- Master communicator : outstanding oral and written communication in English (French / German a plus !).
- Self-motivated and extremely resourceful in driving projects forward.
- Experience in a B2B startup/scale-up a plus !.
